Did you ever think you would see the day where you could be arrested and sent to jail for being naked in your own home? Well guess what, you can, apparently! So a guy gets up early in the morning to make some coffee while in his birthday suit and a lady and young boy that were cutting through his front yard saw the man naked in his home and called the police. The police show up and arrest the naked homeowner for indecent exposure. The arresting officers said they felt he was trying to show his “business” to the lady and young child.

First of all, how could the arresting officers know the intentions of the guy when they weren’t there, and secondly, why wasn’t the lady arrested for trespassing? That’s where the real crime was. The naked coffee-making criminal was facing up to one year in jail and a $2,000.00 fine. Now that’s what I call an expensive cup of joe. Does coffee not make one happy? Of course it does, therefore he was only partaking in his right to pursue happiness. Clearly this was a violation of the naked coffee-making man’s rights.

Keep in mind, this story goes back to 2009, so if you think not being allowed your right to privacy is a new phenomenon you would be incorrect. Turns out the guy was convicted of indecent exposure and sentenced to 180 days in jail for this most heinous crime. However, the judge did suspend the sentence. Apparently there were no charges filed against the peeping Tom / trespasser. How’s that for justice?
